Founded by our small team of friends, Wigs & Hero's is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children suffering from hair loss due to medical conditions like alopecia, burns, trichotillomania, chemotherapy, and other health-related causes. Since 2022, we've been on a mission to bring hope and confidence back to these young heroes by providing them with high-quality, custom-fitted wigs.

Our History
Wigs and Heroes was founded in 2022 by three close friends who were deeply moved by the experience of watching their dear friend battle cancer. As she bravely fought through her treatments, one of the most challenging aspects was losing her hair. This deeply emotional experience sparked a desire to make a difference, not just for her, but for other children who were facing similar struggles. Driven by compassion and the belief that no child should have to face the emotional toll of hair loss alone, we came together with a mission to provide free wigs to children 18 and younger who were experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions such as cancer, alopecia, and other health-related causes.
Since our founding, Wigs and Heroes has provided high-quality wigs to children in need, all at no cost. Our work has been made possible through the support of our community, generous donors, and local partners, including professional stylists and businesses who share our vision of helping children regain their confidence and dignity.

Each wigs prothesis requires up to 20 ponytails to complete just one wig. With each donation we come one donation closer to helping a child in need.
